Feeling Better & Our Weekend !

Our  Miggs is feeling better . So far since Fri she has kept all her food down and has been raring to play  .

Fall 2013 (21 of 49)

We would like to thank all of you for your comments of wishes and get wells !

Saturday was a rainy gloomy day so Papa  and I just puttered indoors and the girls well.. they slept all day lol !

Yesterday was a lovely sunny day so Papa , Miggs and I were out side cleaning up a bit more and playing ball . This year our fall clean up has been later as the warmer weather we had all though nice delayed our fall clean up as flowers are still blooming and leaves took longer to  change and  have fallen  later then normal . We are also catching up on our chopping those trees that were taken down last month .

The morning air is now chilly yet fresh and has the smell of  winter in it   the winds today are blowing .

Fall 2013 (1 of 5)

The trees are becoming more bald now and the ground is covered with colours of fall !

Fall 2013 (22 of 59)

The Blue jays are busy gobbling up the seed and causing havoc in the yard .

Fall 2013 (4 of 5)

Below .. I spotted the Junco in our tree  so he is now back for the season !

As I look every where  there is just so many different colours with in the land now .

I love the reddish rusty colours of the Cedars mixed in with green !

Some colours just pop out and are so vibrant !

We haven’t had our hard frost yet but I know we will get it before the end of the month  !

Well that was our weekend  … pretty quite as usual with a bit of puttering indoors , taking photos and enjoying the  fresh air ,  colours and the return of the seasons birds   !

Best yet .. our Miggs back to her old self !

Until next time .. have a good day !

Yay for Miggs! So happy to hear she is feeling better! Nice weekend all around. We've had the same sort of slow fall here too... But I can smell winter in the wind too Elaine... He's not too far off I'm afraid! Have a great week! Deb

Hi Elaine... Good new to here about the Migg's, and that she is back to being the silly pup!! : )
Things there seem to be pretty much like here, except last night for the first time we had a good frost, that wasn't expected!!
Well it is time "darn" I like it just the way it was!! : )

Good to hear that Miggs is much better. Hope it continues. Much cooler weather now, our garden clean up is all done except the odd little thing. It's a rainy Monday morning, we will be doing our walking inside today.

So happy that Miggs is feeling better.

We are experiencing November-like weather here - in the middle of October! It's going to be only in the 40's F this week, and going down to as low as 20's some nights!

Oooh, somehow I missed your post about Miggy being sick... it does sound like it is her dogfood... especially if you have been switching it... when we first got Tessy I put her on Iams as I thought that was the best.... wrong!... she got very ill and I did research and found some dogs had even died from eating Iams... I called the company, and no one would ever call me back... I emailed, no answer... so I researched EVERY and I mean EVERY dogfood available for my sweet Tessy... the BEST is Newman's Own Organic... not one bad thing in it, and Tessy loves it and has been fine ever since... I found out that there is something called "4D" chicken by~products that no one bothers to tell you what they are... well... Newmans Own customer service was soo nice and told me that "4D" by~proucts means the chickens are either dead, dying, diseased or disabled when they use them!... and the governments allow it... made me sick!... anyway, Newmans Own has NONE of that... you may want to try Miggy on it... I also divide Tessy's food into lunch and dinner so she does not hog it all down at once so fast... glad to hear Miggy is much better though!... let me know if you try the Newmans... xoxo Julie Marie

Yay for Miggs! So happy the unhappy pooch is feeling a little better.

Your photos are really beautiful - the cedar is my favourite.. you're right, the rusty red colour really pops against the green!

First, glad to read that Miggs is feeling so much better and know you are as well cause worrying over a sick pet is a concern many of us have shared, Elaine. We also did some yard chores outdoors this weekend on the one good day, Sunday. But we do not as yet have any fall colors as all the trees in the yard are still the same color - green!

I've been away and I haven't been keeping up with blog posts, so I'm so happy to hear that Miggs is doing well! That is good news.

Your photos are lovely! And it seems to be the season for blue jay activity. They are everywhere, and making lots of noise, too!
