A Little Frosting Please

Woke this morning to a little frost blanketing everything , So me being me put my  lumber jacket , my little gloves and rubber boots on grabbed my camera and off I went and of course I was still in my Jammies lol .

The air was chilly crisp and fresh but the winds were calm , I love it when it is like that so refreshing , wakes you up , I like seeing my breath  ever so slightly in the crisp cold air  make me feel alive .

Fall 2013 (12 of 20)

I just love the way frost looks on everything how it forms it’s self on each and every crevice and what ever it is on  takes on a entire different look .

Some spots had thicker frost then others !

Morning, love the pictures with the frost on them, such a pretty look......Wish the sky was clear here, has been overcast for days now, no sun, moon or stars, miss them.....Blessings Francine.

I love that first frost that edges all the leaves, branches and twigs. Very pretty. We are getting your wind down here today. It's very breezy!! and cold!

I wish we were neighbours...we could sit outside in the mornings, have a coffee and a chat...discuss whether our Jammies matched our wellies!!

I really like that shot of the moon! It was pretty cold here, and breezy this morning too. I saw our first evidence of frost...limp roses!

Oh I love those frost mornings too. The best chance for great photos. This year going out when there is frost is a no no... have to wait until my knee is totally healed. I would hate to slip on a icy surface and mess up what has been accomplished so far!!! Love your frosty photos!!

Hi there, I never think of taking the photos you do but they are so very cool. Plus going out in your pj's just cracks me up. Have I told you that you inspire me with all your shots-you make me look at things differently, so thank you.
Hugs, Noreen

Frosted leaves and flowers have a different beauty than when in their prime. I'm glad you went out in your jammies to share what you found with us.

Gorgeous images! Frost makes for some spectacular photos. We had our first frost a few days ago, and now that I'm back from my trip, I'll have to make an effort to get outside and take some nice photos.

We had a frosty morning last week, but instead of going out with my camera, I headed to the Y for some exercise. You really got some great macros, Elaine.
