A Lick & A Promise

With the weather that is lol .  The rain started at 8 pm last nigh and it rained all night . Yesterdays temps were a bit humid not the temps we are used to for this time of the year .

But today it truly feels more like fall temps  10°C  or 50°F  windy fresh and cool just how it is supposed to be .

Fall 2013 (3 of 16)

The sky was dreary earlier this morning but the sun keeps giving a lick of light  through the dark cloud with its promise to shine through .

Fall 2013 (15 of 16)

                                                                 So I took a few photos .

Fall 2013 (11 of 16)

Very wet leaves that will be dried out soon and blowing all over the place !

Fall 2013 (12 of 16)

Miggs doing her morning yard patrol !

Fall 2013 (5 of 16)

Mr snail hanging on to the outside of the screen !

Oh and look the sun did lick the clouds and keep it’s promise !

Fall 2013 (1 of 2)

The winds have blown the big dark clouds to the north east  , sorry guys over that way .

Fall 2013 (2 of 2)

There may be some dark clouds floating here and there as the winds are blowing  from the  SW  at 28km/h or 17 mph

It seems to be blowing more then that to me  but it is nice to have the sun shining and the winds blowing fresh cool air .

A lick & a promise is an old British phrase my mum  used !

Until next time …. Have a snap happy day !

Love the picture of Miggs playing in the leaves a somewhat blustery day not unlike here in the UK- Jane

We have clouds here today and a bit of rain. The first of both in 10 days so I'm not complaining. The ground was very dry.

Hi there, WE have the windows open here and there is a nice breeze. O.k. so you made me realize that there is another thing, besides flees, that I don't miss about Ca. It is snails and slugs-really don't miss them. Love seeing your morning sites. Give Miggs a pet from us.
Hugs, Noreen
