Chilly November Sunrise

It has been pretty quiet here as the days have been cold and gloomy . The sun decided to show this morning as the air was crisp and cold . I was in our computer room when I saw the sun rising over the valley , this time I cheated and took photos through the window instead of going outside to take them .

Miggs was out side barking at something . I wasn't to concerned as she always barks at the stray cats wandering around or the squirrels in the tree taunting her  ,  then a neighbour came  to the door from the farm down the street   and let me know there is a fox roaming the area and that was what she was barking at as he saw the fox scoot away from our property . We haven’t had to many fox with in the neighbour hood of our village roaming around so we will keep watch . I think this poor fox has been frightened out of the woods due to the deer hunters in the area .

This is how cold it is getting in the mornings now . I like to bundle up and take Miggs for a walk  later in the mornings when it gets a bit warmer , the air is so fresh and clear though , and maybe I will see what's around for photos  as it is to be a nice sunny day today !

Until next time hope you all have a good day !

Brrrrrrrr. It has been cold here in the mornings as well, but not as cold as you!! Our sun has sadly disappeared after only showing itself for one day. Maybe snow today 1-3 inches of the wet stuff. Have a great day. Give Miggie a hug from me!!

Oh yes, the thermometer is now heading in the wrong direction!
It's been very chilly here in the mornings so it's extra nice when the sun shines.

Good Morning Elaine... brrr... but your morning does not look as cold as ours, LOL.... we are supposed to get a lot of snow again today... poor wee fox, but if you're concerned about your wee pup (or cats), you usually don't have to worry about foxes, contrary to popular belief and everyone saying the foxes take the cats, they usually do not, it's the owls that you have to be worried about... and the poor foxed get blamed!! Cheers.

We had a fox in our yard one winter it sure was pretty. I mush prefer them to coyotes. And we don't have chickens so either one is OK :)

Just looking at your temps give me a chill--We have one in the air today too, it's definitely November!

Take care, and stay warm!

Hello Elaine girl .. many a time I have cheated with pictures outside from inside : )
Yes .. the poor fox was probably frightened by deer hunters .. I cringe when ever I hear a random shot. makes me sad .. but that is life isn't it ?
You have a Nikon D3100 too ? I have to read the manual or I will be forever on the auto setting!

I was proud of your comment about the president getting the job done. Someone who sees he's done nothing. Thank you.

Be wary of Mr. Fox. On the upside, they will eat the little rodents that like to get inside when the temps go south.

I always joke that it's 0 below....

That's cold, and I don't blame you for staying inside, great view, and warm.

Stay warm. We just had our first snow and it sure is freezing out. Miggy is a good little watch dog.
