STAGES OF FLIGHT

These photos are from the day I was out in the field taking photos of butterfly’s. I was just about to leave and I heard this strange noise coming towards me. I looked up and there it was a beautiful  Blue Herring. I didn't have time to adjust my camera and he was quite a ways away from me but I took the chance  anyways and snapped like crazy following him as he was passing me by.

These big birds are soo graceful in flight.

I may have to get a new camera as I have been noticing on my photos now that there are pixel spots and there isn't anything that can be done to get rid of them . Its a shame cause I do like my Nikon D60 it has served me well but I am looking at getting the Nikon D 3100 .

Until next time hope you all have a wonderful day !

These are great shots! And if I scroll down quickly, it looks like a film of him flying! I, too, have a Nikon D60. I would LOVE to upgrade, but there's moola involved! *wink*

They sure are a lot more graceful in the air then on the ground. More than once have I seen one crash land, lol.
