SATURDAYS HAPPENINGS

It was a beautiful day , sunny warm with a cool breeze perfect for working in the yard.

We started all this at 8 am .Papa and his dad dug a trench from the house to his work shop to put hydro in for his work shop. It’s never as easy as you think when living on old farm land you find all kinds of surprises under the ground like slabs of concrete, huge rocks and even old tree stumps but even though they came across a lot of obstacles they managed to get the job done. Work like this seems to take longer when your older I find, with breaks here and there they were all done by 4 pm great job guys now go get a nice hot bath and rest your weary muscles !

As the guys were doing that I was cleaning up all the branches that had fallen off of the trees from the wind storms the other day well trying to Miggy kept stealing them from the pile. AAAA anything for me to make a fire !  Then I noticed that the guys were taking a break and Papa grabbed the camera a snapped some shots of me cutting the branch down to size for the fire pit.DSC_0010

                                                             Hey Papa look !

After I was done I decided to just enjoy the weather and take more photos. Those I will post later.

Today is some what of a relax quiet day, all though right now its not too quiet, Papa is under the house as we don't have a basement and strewing the hydro wire from his  workshop under the house and up into the main hydro box, but that wont take him long so once that's done then it will be a relax quiet Sunday ! Well then maybe not lol once the hydro is all hooked up Papa will probably go and play in his work shop ! Then I guess it will be quiet for me lol

Until next time my blogger buddies we hope you have a relaxed quiet Sunday!

looks like you had a wonderful day and accomplished a lot. i see strange things emerge from our farm as well. i guess people just buried things back then instead of properly disposing of them. we had a nice sunny day yesterday too but today is dreary and rainy.

You all worked so hard and your place will be lovely this year.

Wow, you guys are really getting things done. It will be wonderful to have a shop to do projects in and sometimes, just hang out.

I love your fire pit, makes me want one.

That looks like a lot of work. When my nephew was tiling, he uncovered a Model T car in the ditch. Amazing what's under the earth!

Wow, you worked extremely hard all day long, but it's so rewarding when you can look back, and see what you've accomplished.
I love Miggy !
Enjoy a relaxing day today, Sunday.
Hugs,
