SUMMER LIKE WEATHER WEEKEND

The weather this past weekend was amazing, warm , sunny and just beautiful. Papa had to cut the grass for the first time this season. I love the smell of fresh cut grass.

Some times Miggy acts as if she is herding the tractor , guess that's the Border Collie in her.

The Weather today and for the rest of the week is to be summer like, I’m loving it.

We cleaned out our sheds and brought out the patio furniture and got that all set up and Papa worked in his shop organizing it and making things whilst I had the fire pit going . I walked the gardens planning for more flowers that I will be planting and came across this flower that grew with my Daffodils . I have no idea were it came from , I think it was mixed with the Daffodil bulbs that I had planted last fall  . I think it is pretty.

There are a few of these flowers mixed with my Daffs.

All in all it was a great weekend, a relaxing weekend of puttering around and enjoying the weather at Our Country Cove.

Until next time, hope you all have a summer like day !

I love the smell of freshly cut grass!! I am glad you have had such nice weather. In the past 3 weeks we have had 2 days of sun, with another 7 days of rain, fog and general ickiness. Somehow though, the magnolias are flowering, and the rhododendrons are about to pop out. I cannot wait for sun!

When I read that it was the first time the grass had been cut this season, I laughed because we've been having to cut ours every week for the past month or so. We also had a lovely day today with temps in the mid 70s and more of the same this week.
