I just love photographing the birds we get in our back yard. The weather today is wonderfully warm and sunny and the birds are out and about in full force.
This little guy looks like a White Crowned Sparrow but he has yellow markings on either side of his head so I looked on the wonderful bird site that I use http://www.allaboutbirds.org and discovered that he is in fact a White throated Sparrow the two species look so alike but the yellow markings is what differs the two.

Baltimore Oriole, such a pretty orange color.
Gold Finch a pretty bright yellow!
We have so many different breeds of birds here its like we have our own sanctuary, I love it
