Welcome March With This & That

WOW !  cant believe it is March already but I am excited it is , for spring is just around the corner 16 days from today WOOHOO ! and this coming Sunday the clocks bounce an hour a head again more day light  WOOHOO ! can you tell I am happy about it lol .

We have had snow fall accumulate then melt on and off for the past week or so the temps have been bouncing around from very cold to mild and this week is to be that old fashioned dry winter cold then it warms up and we get rain , they said the first week or two of the month will be winter kicking off then all of a sudden Spring will be kicking old man winter out for good and get going so I am looking forward to that .

The yard has been buzzing with business , with birdies, bunnies and squirrels .

Misty and I have been able to get out for our morning walks every so far now so that's good for us as we just love our walks . She also has been able to be out side a bit more to and enjoy the fresh air as she sits on her swing on the patio.

Its her part terrier trait the tongue to be sticking out when she is happy and relaxed , I love it and it is fitting to her character perfectly lol !

She is going for her spring groom tomorrow as you can see Misty has a very thick shaggy coat and with it being so thick she does love to snoozing the snow every now and then when it is milder out .

So far the spring birds that have already returned here are the Grackles, Red winged black birds , Cow birds , Starlings, Cedar Waxwings  and had a few Turkey Vultures soaring over our valley but I haven't seen or heard any Robins yet , they are my fave song bird and my official sign of spring so I will be jumping for joy when they show up lol !

All in all  the land , wild life and  people  are  getting ready and exited  like me lol for the next season   Spring  🌼🌻  So here's to warmer days and more sunshine .

                                                           Until next time

Looking forward to the time change. Starlings have been here all year, but haven’t seen any spring birds yet.
