Its good to be Alberta Bound . I know my Canadian bloggers will remember this song written by Gordon Lightfoot .
This song has even more sentiment to us here now as our youngest son James is now on a plane on his way to Alberta for 5 months and this is his first trip on his own . He has taken a summer job there on one of the many remote resorts . The resort is on the boarder of Alberta and British Columbia so he will see the rocky mountains out his window every day . James decided to do this after seeing an add for jobs there and thought it would be a great adventure and experience for him and he has always wanted to go to the west part of our Country . He will be doing all kinds of jobs there as well as taking in all the fun activity they do there . It was also James Birthday yesterday he turned 22. He has finished his welding school and has all his certificates and now he is ready for some summer adventure .
James and His older brother David .
Both are welders the oldest is also a mechanic and we are proud of them both . David and James are close so this trip of James brings out the big brother in David as his Facebook messages to James tell all . They are like two peas in a pod . We will miss him but hope he has a great time there .There is no cell service and very minimal Wi-Fi at the resort but he will do his best to keep in touch . Safe travels James and have a load of fun . Luv ya kiddo xoxox .
Well that's about it for me for now the weather has been terrific and I have been outside from sunrise to sunset , rain for over night tonight and into tomorrows , so I will be posting of the sunny warm days and all the photos I have taken .
Until next time .

What a great experience this should be for him!
That'll be quite the experience. I've spent time out there. Magnificent land.
He'll love it here! We have the most amazing Summers and the sun is high in the sky until almost midnight! Chy
Such a great opportunity. You’ll have to go back to old fashioned letter writing if no cell service or wifi 😃
Sounds like your son, James, will have a great adventure with his summer job. We know that you will keep us updated whenever you can, Elaine.
What a great experience for your son! Now you have the perfect excuse to go out there for a visit.
Hi there, We've had days of warm sunshine but then also cool rainy days. Always love your photos.
Hope your weather continues.
Hugs,
Noreen
