Tuesdays Tid Bits

We have had glorious weather  , sunny warm temps hitting 20C or 70F all the birds and critters have been busy with feasting and nesting and protecting what's theirs  , lots of bird fights and chasing about going on and all the trees  , shrubs bushes and spring flowers are close to bursting into bloom some have already like my Pansies here and there .

So nice to see the gardens come alive again .

The buds on my Lilacs are bursting to bloom as are the seeds on the trees !

We had a visit from another white and tan Dove like the one we had last summer I posted about and named him/her Snowy . I think there maybe some one in the area that breeds them and releases them  as I know this colouring is rare  and not natural amongst the  wild Morning Dove species .

Friendly bird but not to friendly he/she has a sense  or is aware of danger so that's good ! He/she was watching me and its surroundings  very closely all the time .

In between a little rest or two .

APRIL 2017 (25 of 45)

Such pretty colouring and markings almost like a white and caramel colour .

Then that was that , time for this little one to move on and that he/she did I named he/she Spirit and hope we meet again soon .

The clouds were darkening in the north west as there was rain and thunder in the forecast  and that we got not much thunder or lightning but heavy rains .

APRIL 2017 (31 of 45)

So that was it for us near the end of the day but I was able to sit out on the patio for the evening as it cleared up for an hour or so in the evening after supper  to have my cuppa tea watch and listen to the robins carry on listen to the Red wings  chat back and forth to each other  and the peepers chirping in the marsh and by the river . Then later  in the night rain and storms continued .

Early this morning at about 6am  it had cleared enough for me to see and capture the full moon Visible: 100%  Age: 15 days .

APRIL 2017 (35 of 45)

The moon had lots of dampness about it as the atmosphere was very damp from the rain storms . It was setting in the west .
