It Was A Nice First Weekend Of April

The weather was lovely sunny and warm .   Saturday we spent the best part of the day grocery shopping and stoking up  and Papa hasn't been feeling that well this weekend I think he is fighting a spring cold but we carry on anyways lol ! .

Last nights moon in its Waxing crescent was pretty in the night sky as the peepers were signing down in the marsh . For the moon enthusiasts in blog land like me ,  tomorrow the moon with be at its first Quarter and on April 11th will be a full moon  and here is a chart on this web site for  Aprils moon phases   .

I continued with the fire as Papa was puttering about in his shop .

Rain for tomorrow and Tuesday but that's ok cause April showers bring May flowers and I am good with that lol !

It sure was nice and spending lots of time outside was wonderful. Today is nice too but that big rain system is moving in later tonight and tomorrow. It will wash away all the grime of winter. I"ve got some crocus in bloom today :)
