Sunshine, Cold & Snow

Papa is back to work today  BOOHOO ! It is just Miggs , Harley and I at home during the week days now . I woke this morning to some snow on the ground and the promise of sunshine through the clouds !

JANUARY 2015 (3 of 21)

I took all the photos from  inside my windows as it was windy  and very cold .

Miggs was happy to see some snow when I let her out this morning !

Oh the promise of sunshine in the sky’s , how wonderful . I don't mind the cold and snow as long as there is sunshine , makes it so much brighter and happier with sunshine !

As the sun was shining I got dressed and then prepared Chilly in the slow cooker for supper tonight !

Then I took more photos from inside my windows waiting for the morning to become a bit warmer out there as the sun was shining helping it warm things up a bit !

The Blue jays were feasting like crazy and other birdies to !

This Blue jay was busy cracking a seed open to get the YUMMY ! stuff inside !

Mr Downy was busy feasting on one of the suet's I have out for them !

JANUARY 2015 (2 of 2)

As the morning went on and the sun shone brighter and warmed things up a bit and made it a bit more pleasant compared to the gloomy days we just had  , I then bundled up with ski pants, boots, scarf, mitts hat and my new Tough Duck winter coat .JANUARY 2015 (3 of 3)JANUARY 2015 (2 of 3)

I  then ventured out side and made sure all the feeders were topped up , got some more wood to stock up for the  inside of my wood crate  and as you can see my trail of foot prints to the right of the photo as our covered  wood sheds are behind our other sheds and between the Cedars at the back   and then  took Miggs for a walk ,  when we came back  we played in the yard for a bit in the snow and now we are in all cozy and warm and the sun is still shining out there and in here to the sky is a bright blue and not a cloud in sight  ! There is wind chill warnings for today and the rest of the week , so much for no winter  that some thought we would not have lol  ! I had a funny feeling it would get nasty cold here soon with or with out snow  .

                                                                                    Until next time .

Snow makes for pretty photos. Lovely to see that Miggy enjoys the snow. We're supposed to get some tomorrow.

Those jays are quite a noisy visitor!

Winter's pretty much settled in now. It's very cold, and that's not likely to change anytime soon.

Girl, that is way too cold for me! Thanks for the photos, and please keep Miggs all warm and snuggly, although he probably enjoys being out in the cold for a short bit.
