I’m Doing It !

Snow blowing that is lol  What did you think I meant  , cheeky lol !

I still have to have Papa there to start the snow blower up but not for long I am feeling more confident now to do it on my own but yesterday when he came home I did it and off I went !

                                                   Papa took photos  lol !

Snow blowing paths around the yard for Miggs and I so I can get to my birdie feeders !

The things that make me happy one would think I am bonkers lol !

Look at that deep concentration on my face lol !

JANUARY 2015 (1 of 7)-2

Earlier I took these photos of the dark snow clouds rolling our way  as a peek of sun came out . Nothing came out of them as it all went south of us . HA HA  everything eventually goes south doesn’t it ? lol !

JANUARY 2015 (2 of 7)-2

It was a nice day yesterday mild and snow gently falling every now and then . Today bitterly cold and wind chill warnings -21°C Feels like –28 °C    Or  -6°F Feels like –18 °F BRR !!  but the sun  is just starting to rise and it is to be sunny all day  so much  easier to take  with the sun shining I think !

Let the Sunny shine in I say !

                                                                                     Until next time .

You go, girl! My friend in Ohio used her bobcat (a gift from hubby) to plow out their driveway yesterday and she posted the picture on Facebook.

You look very happy indeed and very cold too! How great that you can do this yourself so if the need arises you can get out there and get the job done. That is quite a machine to handle, I am very impressed!! xx

Your lucky, my family doesn't want me to use one of them. They think that I will get hurt. We had some ice under our last snow, but we have had nothing like last year. Just the bitter cold. I still think women need to be able to do things so if something happens we can survive without having to rely on others to help us. Have a wonderful day and I have enjoyed catching up with you. Good for you!! I refuse to do this job. Ours is an old one and hard to handle. LOL I did go out and scoop part of the driveway today then called my son to come and finish it. I didn't want to have a heart attack while hubby's away!! We got about 10 cm. of snow yesterday and today is sunny with the bitter cold back again too. It sure looks pretty out there though!

What a gal you are Elaine! I thought a snow blower would be wonderful, but hubby won't invest.
We had some light drizzle/sleet yesterday and it is just plain cold. Not as cold as your area, but cold still the same.
Hope you get some sunshine today.
Hugs, Noreen

Big round of applause for you. I did paths to the bird feeders too, if it gets too deep hubby will snow blow them. I don't use the snow blower but should be inspired by you and give it a try. Stay warm ... those sunny patches in the house have been glorious to sit in, if I can get the cat out of the way :)

My parents had one for years. When it finally gave out while they were living in Muskoka, they hired a plow to keep the driveway clear in the winters.

You look good in these photos Elaine. I also get pleasure in the simple things. They are the best :) That snow blower looks like it can handle all that heavy snow.
