Getting Colder !

           WOW !! November already ?

I cant believe how fast the months are just flying by . The weather here has certainly  changed to  becoming colder  and  the winds are a blowing more and have that sound , feel  and smell of winter to them  . The  trees around the valley are becoming more bare day after day  and the lands are looking bare as well .  Papa and I ventured out for a bit earlier today the temps were 3°C Feels like –1 or 37°F Feels like 30  defiantly colder  but fresh  .  I decided to try my new winter hat Papa bought for me actually he bought it through work and it was to small hehe he has another one on the way for him lol  . I have always wanted one of these winder hats .

NOVEMBER 2014 (24 of 28)

Boy is it  ever soft and warm it is the thinsulate fuzzy  inside and heavy canvas outer layer  and  the front flap comes down like a beak  of a cap,   soo cozy it is I love it ! I don't care how I look as long as I am warm especially when I go for walks with my Miggs on the really cold winter days !

I went around the property and took photos of what November 1st looks like here at Woods Country Cove .

NOVEMBER 2014 (2 of 28)

Big greyish blue clouds were floating over as the sun was struggling to shine , maybe they have snow in them looks like snow clouds !

The birds know full well that it's getting colder, and they'll be expecting to be well fed over the winter.

Looks like you're all ready for the colder weather Elaine. I love that hat and it's going to go a long way when the weather gets even colder. Loved the photos. No, I can't believe how fast this year has gone already. Enjoy the rest of your weekend :)

November definitely came in with colder temperatures. We had our first heavy frost so maybe the allergies will go away. It is not fun to get a sinus infection on top of them. Lots of antibiotics. I enjoyed catching up with you this evening. Take care. Hugs and Prayers from Your Missouri Friend.

Your hat is great. Now when I got out bird watching in winter I have 2 hats on and a round thing on my neck which I put up over my nose, have my long black coat on and hey presto, NO ONE know who I and I don't care what I look like because I am out and keeping warm!! Love the last of the red leaves.

I think the hat is perfect!

We had a freeze last night and we were scrambling to save what we could from the garden.

It's entirely too early to be cold here.

I love your November pictures.

There is nothing worse than having frozen ears, so your new hat is just perfect - all snuggly and warm!!

Your property is just gorgeous, and showing lots of signs of the approaching winter now. Bare trees, we're getting there.
