A Bit Of Summer In Our Yard

 

Well Papa fixed the wingback chair leg from yesterdays post , it  looks awesome cant tell it was cracked at all and it is strong  .

The weather has been hot, humid and sunny not much rain  at all so hosing the gardens with sprinklers has been an event each evening .

I went about the yard and took photos  .

                                      And the birdies are feasting , chirping and zooming from feeder to feeder !

                                   So this is a bit of summer in our yard lots more critters , birds and blooms still but I wont get to

                                                                                     carried away here  lol !

          It is a cool  fresh morning for a change to humid and sticky  so AC if off and windows open  , there are  big dark clouds  hanging over ,  I hope it rains as we need it !

Your gardens are looking lovely Elaine. We are having rain showers on and off today, so its a bit of time outside and when the rain stops its a bit of visiting on the internet. :)

Hi Elaine! Your porch and your gardens are really lovely, as is your girl Miggs, who always is! I think I may have mentioned to you that mine are showing the neglect of this season, that I hope I can undo some of. Our weather has cooled too thanks to the edges of Hurricane Arthur.

Your garden looks good. Our common orange daylilies are blooming. The good ones will follow in a few more days.
