It has been a quiet weekend for us , not having to go anywhere or have anything pressing to do other then enjoy our yard and putter .
Papa helped his dad reseal their driveway .
I did my laundry puttered & took photos !
A cow bird was making quite the fuss in our big tree !
Our Clematis is nice and full this year and full of blooms as it slowly opens each one !
Miggs peaking around the corner in the shade of the patio !
A cute little song sparrow serenading us with his song !
Mama Grackle feeding her inpatient baby !
This little guy was fluttering all over the garden and flowers having a hard time in the breeze and with all the choices.
Papa finished refurbishing our chiminea we got for free from our neighbours a few weeks ago , now we have to get a few patio stones to put it on to have it just out from under the patio porch !
The weather has been lovely as the humidity has left us for now and it has been sunny with cool breezes just perfect . .
My hopes and prayers for those who are in or were in the Hurricane storm !
Until next time my friends !

Looks like a great day to me. I love "puttering" at home!
I enjoy a quiet weekend sometimes, looking great around the yard, Francine.
Lovely, lovely photos that look like another most perfect weekend!
your yard is so pretty! I only looked briefly at the clematis, as I can kill that stuff with no effort , not sure my power is diluted over the internet so to be safe... lol
I really like your clothesline, I used to have one similar will have to find another
Sounds like a great weekend! Love the cloud pictures in your previous post as well. xx
I so enjoyed your post today. Truly it was a peaceful journey for me to take about your yard after such a busy weekend I had. Glad yours was settling. The driveway looks like it can be a big job, always nice to have help.
My daughter purchased me a pot belly almost like yours and the outside is all rusted and well I was wondering what you did to restore your great find? Have a great week ahead.
I love your clematis...I hadn't thought of letting it climb a tree!

Clothes on the line and beautiful weather...perfect summer day. What is chewing on your clematis?
Hey, we have the same clothesline...lol.
Love the shot of Miggs so cute.

i almost bought a metal chiminea just like that one, but i was afraid our winds here would be too strong and cause a fire hazard. :)
