In Our Neck Of The Woods

The weather has been beautiful and summer like , temps have hit highs of  24ºC or 75ºF with warm breezes and lots of sun shine .  I have been out in my gardens preparing them for my new flowers  and it has been great ,nothing like getting in your garden dirt lol !

All of our birds and critters are  all back now and eating us out of  house and home lol  Orioles and Hummers are drinking down the nectar like it is going out of style  and the other birdies and critters are munching down the seed from the feeders . All is busy with nest building and some have already had their babies as I can hear little cheep cheep from the Cedar hedges .

We have a new bird in town again this year who sings so pretty . Seems every year a new bird comes to join the fun !

                                                                                A Brown Thrasher !

You've been having some lovely weather there. It's been quite nice here this week with sunny warm (15) days so things are popping now. Rain for the weekend but at least it will be a warm rain. Those I don't mind. Have a wonderful weekend.

Too humid too soon for me here today.
You can send a few of those beautiful grosbeaks this way. I haven't seen any in the garden here yet.
A Happy Belated Birthday to your son. They grow up so fast.
Enjoy the weekend.

Poor Miggs, she has had to go from so cold to so hot in such a short period of time! It is lovely to see all that is starting to grow in your garden, plants and birds. Hope that you have a good weekend. xx

Isn't it nice to see everything come alive this time of year! Love seeing the Grosbeaks. I have them at my feeders for the first time.

It is so lovely being outside for most of the day. We have lots of goldfinches too, and noticed the white crowned sparrows during the week as well. No grosbeaks for us, but a week or so after you see them they arrive in our garden. I've been planting bean seeds, canna root and more but no annuals yet. I've been outside so much I'm not getting around in blogland to visit my friends as much.
