Part 1
Hey everyone hope you all had a good long weekend ! We sure did !
The weather here was lovely a bit chilly on Sat but Sunday and yesterday were perfect !
Went to the garden centre Saturday early morning to get our flowers for our gardens . Took Miggs with us as we do every year cause she loves it there and is such a good girl , all the people and flowers to sniff all the pats on the head and the odd cuddle she gets no wonder she loves it there lol !
When we got home we took out our flower haul from the van and put them on tables then decided from there who was going to go where ! We picked up lots of plants that spread , bush out and cascade !
I took lots of photos !
Not a bad haul lol !
So now the planting begins ! I have been waiting for this moment !
This is our centre garden !
Yup even Papa picks some of the plants and decides where some can go and he liked these for this spot around the Lilac tree and on the bench he made ! !
These barrels are by Papa’s work shop and this little garden is in front of his shop so off he went a planting !
Then Papa helped me do the rest !
This is our back garden by the Cedar hedges , the lower part here we planted and over to the left is a higher level with ferns coneflowers and Tiger Lilly’s starting to grow .
This is our front garden , it wraps around the front of the house !
Our front porch !
Whilst we were at the garden centre Papa went into the cute little garden shop that was there to use their washroom as he came out of the garden shop he had this in his hands and said here is a little something I know you will like for the yard !
Butterfly chimes , oh more to add to the others I have lol I love it , thanks Papa good eye
he knows what I like !
Our garden at the side of the driveway . I planted a few flowers but mostly there is wild violets there , Tiger Lilly's , Lilly of the valley that stuff spreads like crazy and a bush that I cant remember what it is but it flowers so pretty !
So now all our flowers are tucked in their new homes and all looks great !
Part 2 of our long weekend continues tomorrow .. and yes more photos and
a new bird in the yard again to hehe !
Until next time my friends .

Beautiful, Elaine. You have lovely gardens.. xo
Everything looks beautiful!! So many lovely plants, your garden already looks great, but when they all start to bloom it will be even better. Love the butterfly chimes that Papa bought you, what a nice fellow he is. Glad that you had a fun weekend. xx
What a gorgeous garden you will have to enjoy (and share?) this year!
looks like you had fun!
Looking good! :)
Who wouldn't love to see Miggs come to their place??? Can't wait to see the flowers all matured. Give Miggs a sloppy kiss from all of us.
You two sure had a busy weekend. Good thing the weather was co-operating. I won't get my annuals for another week as there's still a risk of frost and also it's so wet right now they'd all mildew. That's happened before! I'm looking forward to it though! Have a great week.
Looking good you two! Love all that beautiful color!!! :)
Oh, Elaine,it's going to look absolutely gorgeous once it gets going! I see you have some of my likes there too.
Love the butterfly on the wind chime.

Doesn't it feel good seeing all those gorgeous flowers at the garden centre and knowing they'll soon be enjoyed around your own garden !
Lots of great plants there, and so many places to plant them.
Love your garden spots....

The plants all look wonderful in their new homes. O-o-o-h a new bird ... Wonder if it will visit me in a week or so? We.ve had the hammers and grosbeaks the past few days.
Oh they are so beautiful all tucked into their new homes. Nice work. Hug B
We'll you sure bought a lot of beauties!
I haven't bought ONE thing....soon....
Cheers!
Linda :o)
You really go all out in gardening!
You have such a beautiful garden. I look forward to seeing photos of all those lovely flowers when they grow!
Looks like a good time!
Years ago, I too would buy so many plants and put them all around the yard, but then had to keep them watered during our hot summers, which was a lot of work at times. Now I only put some in pots around the back patio and front porch....much easier care. Yiur gardens are sure to be lovely once all the flowers are blooming, Elaine.
