Desert that is  lol . This desert is a family favourite and Papa has a hankering  for it !

                                APRIL 2014 (7 of 7)

I use low fat pudding and cool whip .   I figured why not , it is quick and easy to make and the weather was kind of on and off with rain !

APRIL 2014 (4 of 7)

Now we all know that  I am not  all that up with making things and spending a lot of time in the kitchen , mined you I enjoy others recipes and seeing them enjoy the art of baking and cooking , I  on the other hand  do have the odd creation going on in the kitchen from time to time  lol !

APRIL 2014 (2 of 7)

Layering the unsalted crackers on a layer of cream .

APRIL 2014 (3 of 7)

After all the cracker layers and cream is done we love to have ours made with blue berry pie filling but you can use any pie filling really .

APRIL 2014 (5 of 7)

Papa will be able to dive into this desert after being in the fridge for 24 hours  !

                                                                                YUMMY !

APRIL 2014 (6 of 7)

This is a very light dessert and not to sweet either and the crackers soak up a lot of the cream and form a light pastry texture !  One would never know it had crackers in it !

Last night we had thunderstorms with heavy rains .

                                                 APRIL 2014 (1 of 3)

I love the look of dark eerie storm clouds !

APRIL 2014 (2 of 3)

Rain clouds are still hanging around this morning but the sun is also peeking out so lets hope

                                                                                          the sun wins !

Supper tonight is roast beef in slow cooker with  potatoes and veggies , oh and of course

Phoney French Pastry for dessert ! !

Until next time my friends !

That dessert sound really great and looks so east to make too. It was nice here yesterday but not so today - cooler and rainy now and then. The grass is greening up though. :)
