It Snowed Again

Last night we had snow falling flying around windy and cold .

But this morning when I woke up it was the promise of sunshine in the east .  So Miggs and I went out . I shovelled the walkway in the back by the house , and the drive way , thankfully the snow we got wasn’t a lot and it was fluffy , . The temps were quite nice with the odd swoosh of wind but other then that quite pleasant . After I did the shovelling and swept the birdie feeders off of snow so they can get to the seed Miggs and I went for a nice walk .  The sun shine kept it’s promise and is shining it’s warmth and brightness , for a while there I thought the few clouds that were hanging around were going to win that battle .

Blue sky’s with white silver lined clouds , looks weird but beautiful at the same time !

Miggs always has snow on her face !

 January 2014 (3 of 8)

The birdies were all chatting and busy having their breakfast this morning .

 January 2014 (5 of 8)

                                                                               Love the little Juncos !

 January 2014 (6 of 8)

There were Sparrows, Juncos and Chickadee's all  scratching and pecking for food in the feeder and on the ground under the hanging feeders !

                                                   January 2014 (8 of 8)

Despite the bit of  snow we had the day out there seems quite nice with the sun shining and  the critters and birdies keep busy at the feeders traveling from hedge to hedge and Miggs is keeping an eye on them all whilst laying on the mat on the back patio under the porch .  I just popped out side for a bit  again and it maybe sunny but the winds have picked up and it is now colder then it was a few hours earlier .    The weekend so far looks pretty good  with a mix of  some sun, snow flurries a bit of wind and the temps don’t seem they will be to bad either .

                                                                                 So on that note .

Until next time …. Have a good weekend .

Although you don't seem bothered either way by the snow being back, I think that Miggs looks as though she is very happy to see it again!! xx

Hi there, So glad you have some sunshine-we are having very nice weather here today. I am looking forward to spring-but it is a long way off. Have a great weekend and I'm sure you and Miggs will enjoy the weather whatever it is.
Hugs, Noreen

We have had so much snow, not in great amounts just more frequent. The cats seem to be doing fine although we made some shelter. Our woodpeckers are all over the suet too. It looks like Miggs enjoys the snow, have fun!

We ended up having a nice day here too; went skiing in the sun. We still have lots of snow here, and I'm hoping for more.

Nice pictures of the birds and Miggs today. It was foggy and cloudy here all day but it's definitely cooling down tonight and it's slippery out there.

Brrr. I wish we could trade some of our hot weather for a bit of your snow. Miggs, adorable as always. Great photos as usual. Have a great weekend.

A no snow weekend here, Elaine, but we did have at least 10 flakes come down early Sat morning when I went out to the "Y."
