From Our Windows ,Cold & Snowy

Well .. I think winter is defiantly here even though it officially starts on the 21st by the calendar but good old mother nature says other wise .

It has been cold -4°C Feels like –11  to –18 or 25°F Feels like 14 or less with snow squalls and high winds . But yesterday the sun popped out for a bit as it was rising amongst all the big heavy snow clouds .

I like how the sun looks at sun rise and sun set in the cold air !

December 2013 (3 of 13)

The sun didn’t last long as these great big snow filled clouds rolled in !

Then the clouds let loose  and the winds were howling . White outs every where !

And of course you know who just had go out in it all to investigate !

The wood stove was going and I was taking photos through the windows as it was snowing and blowing trying to get Miggs to come in .

I finally got Miggs to come in after all the calling and bribing I could think of lol  She is stubborn when she doesn't want to come in .

December 2013 (5 of 8)-2

She was covered in snow and not very happy she had to come in as she loves being out there but the winds were gusting by this point and it was to  cold .

December 2013 (7 of 8)-2

Then I asked Miggs if she wants a treat well then that was a different story as she woofed yes !

Today has heavy dark clouds over head and snowing and to be snowing all day and through tomorrow , so I think we will just get cozy watch yet again more Christmas movies and enjoy the winter wonderland from out windows .

Until next time … Have a cozy weekend !

miggs reminds me of our baron - he will stroll like nothing's going on in pouring rain, thunder, whatever. :)

Miggs looks so cute with the towel on her head. You are lucky you have a nice wood stove to keep you and your house warm on these cold days. It looks so cozy and toasty there. Enjoy!

It certainly seems as though mother nature and Miggs have decided that it is time for winter! I think that you are right that has to mean that it is time for sitting by the wood burner and keeping warm and dry! Let Miggs go out and do the investigating and you stay indoors! xx

What a lovely post. I'm sure Miggy will be out there at the first opportunity running through it and having a whale of a time. I wish I had her energy :) If I haven't said so before I think your header is gorgeous! Have a great weekend!
