I love the Christmas cards with winter wonderland scenes .

They have such an appeal to them . The artists paint these then make thousand of copies !

                                                               They are soo pretty .

When I send cards, and its not every year, I choose to use my own photos. Just showing off, I guess!!!

Yes, such pretty cards! We still send out traditional cards, too. So many people send E-cards and as nice as it is to hear from them, the E-cards just don't deliver the same warm Christmas feeling.

All of the cards you showed are pretty, but I like your views the best! I like to send lots of cards, so sadly price of the card and the postage are a big factor for me! xx

These are really beautiful Christmas cards. I like this kind as well. I save my cards every year then cut them up for gift tags and sometimes save the fronts of pretty ones that I love. Pamela

I love personalized cards, but now I hardly send out any cards. They are either had delivered or sent electronically. And with the huge postal increases just announced today I imagine I won't be sending out any at all next year.

I like to make my own cards, and glitter finds its way on almost every one.

I agree, it's hard to beat a wintery wonderland scene on a holiday card! I loved your picnic table shot! You've inspired me to get out and shoot some snowy scenes now (well maybe when it gets back up above 0 degrees that is) Cold temps have me house bound and I'm visiting some of my blog friends today. To answer your question about Photoshop: yes, I use it along with Picasa and Photoscape. I'm not sure what version I have of PS Elements, but it does everything I want it to and thensome! Hope you have a great day and are keeping warm with your Migs!

Hi there, Oh how I love those cards! I'm finding that fewer and fewer people are sending out cards-I think everyone stays in touch via email now. Next year I might not send any out; however Hunter has gotten almost 20 cards so far.
Have a great day!
Hugs, Noreen

I like your cards the best, they are delightful, and being made from your photos, even more so.

We were reading that Canada post is raising up the cost of stamps to .85 cents each, or as much as 1$ per stamp...goodbye Christmas cards for us. No way am I going to spend that kind of money on a snail mail card.

I love Christmas cards, especially with winter scenes and snowmen. I hope to buy lots of stamps for the New Year as they are going up 30 cents March 31/2014.

Have a great day, E.

Elaine, I too enjoy Christmas cards, although I do not collect any specific ones. I do send them out each year and sometimes the list changes as folks are dropped, added. I have done both using my own photos and store-bought cards. It always takes me awhile to do the cards as I include personal notes in each. The cost can be considered exorbitant by some, but it does bring me joy at the holiday season and hopefully the recipients enjoy the messages as well.

Elaine, I love Christmas cards too! We always send cards with photos of the kids for our relatives far and wide can get a gander at them, but I so enjoy the old fashioned Christmas scenes like you pictured here. Thanks for sharing them!
Stay warm by that cozy fire of yours!
