I was up earlier then usual this morning as I knew the sun was to shine so I wanted to capture some things under the light of the first 2013 Spring sun rise !
I was out side at 7:30 am just as the sun was rising , it was cold but fresh and the sounds around me were wonderful . Robins chirping and singing , Cardinals to , Crows cawing and Geese honking as they fly past , Blue jays squawking Sparrows chattering , Chickadee’s chirping, Roosters crowing from the farm down the road . Early morning light is the best time for taking photos of birds as they are still groggy from sleeping and don't move to quick lol kind of like me in the mornings lol ! So out Miggs and I go !
These clouds were moving away from the sun in the east and traveling to the south over Lake Erie !
This springs first sunrise over the valley !
Mr Robin high top the tree just waking up and still puffed up as the sunrise shines on him !
Looks like this little guy is still sleepy to !
Can you see all the buds on the trees !
Mr Cardinal was singing his heart out as it echoed through the valley !
Miggs couldn’t figure out why I was out soo early as she followed me around !
One lonely Goose flying to the river ! I guess he had an early start to his day and left all the others still snoozing !
Last but not least my buddy Charlie Junior ! Who squawks at me every morning just like his daddy did !
After about an hour taking photos Miggs and I went for our walk earlier then normal but took a bit of a longer stroll as it was nice out .
Spring is slowly showing it’s trueness through the birds and the buds .

oh you got some real nice images girl. Dont worry Miggs Mommy is having one of her early moments but you look tired Miggs. I dont think your ready to go walking yet.
Go lay down and she will whistle when she is finished.
It's snowing here today...the birds fly in for their food then promptly fly off again.

The first day of spring came according to the calendar but not the temperatures. I was a bit lazy to get out and about, but glad you and Miggs did get out, Elaine. Have a great spring weekend!
