A New Year 2013

Hope everyone had a nice evening of ringing in the new year . Papa and I had a quiet evening . I wasn’t sure if we were even going to make it to midnight as we are early to bed folk but we did , it was like  this , when midnight hit we said Happy New Year to each other a peck and that was that , night, night time lol ! The party animals in us that once was are no longer lol ! Ya know your getting old when !!

I do not make any new years resolutions I just go with the flow . I do however make plans to do things hopefully through out the seasons like this spring we are planning to build  a raised veggie garden , and what flowers I want this summer . I am still working on my Country Kitchen Recipe book that I am designing  and of course just taking hundreds of photos  and working on photos for members of our saddle club. Papa is slowly finishing up my little pantry he built and soon will be busy in his wood work shop making and building other things for us and other people.

Just enjoying the birds in our yard the nature that's around us , our girls and basically just plodding along with a simple country life just the way we like !

I took these photos yesterday . The Cardinals are very skittish ! We have three males and two females here .

They were watching me that's for sure !

A scenery I see every day during the winter . Our Neighbours barn with the woods in the back. A road and a river are down in the gully of the woods .

So do you make any new years resolutions ?  Or do you just go with the flow ?

Until next time Hope you all have a good day !

No resolutions,I'd feel such a failure if I didn't stick to them!
We were so tired yesterday we skipped dinner so we have that for today's lunch.
I love the pic of the cardinal by the house and flowers..his colours seem to glow!

Your New Year's Eve sounds a lot like mine! We babysat our granddaughter and left the partying to her parents! By 12:15 we were tucked in bed!

Your blog looks real nice! I like the changes! Looks real professional!

Love the photos of the cardinals!

No resolutions.

I shall just take things as they come and hope they will be more good than bad.

Happy New Year.

Your "Cove" pictures are so serene and calming, such a beautiful place to call home, no matter what season of the year.
Wishing you both a Happy New Year, I've so enjoyed our visits back and forth throughout the year, and look forward to more of the same.
Blessings,
~Jo

Happy New Year only one goal not a resolution. BE HAPPY and never say cannot. Love the cardinals. B

I am not one for resolutions, change needs to happen when it needs to happen. That said, can you resolve to post Cardinal pics for me often? I love them and we don't have them in Alberta, thanks for sharing

Gorgeous photos. Your night sounded just like our night. I do make resolutions but then usually break them.
