The weather was beautiful yesterday . Sunny and warm with cool breezes . Miggy and I take this walk almost every day weather permitting . So I decided to take my camera with us to show you!
Come on mum lets go !!!
This is from the road that is beside our house . Some trees have changed and some haven’t but it all looks so pretty any ways !
The streets are lined with lovely trees and lots of birdy sounds are coming from them. Our Village is wide spread lots of people have quite a bit of land considering how many live here . I think the last count was 600 people !
If you look way in the back there is a Wind mill , they are very popular here as there are hundreds around the area !
We also have farms amongst our village ! So a lot of Rooters crowing ,Geese honking and horses whinnying ! I love it !!!!!
We have lots of Mennonite's that live here in our village as well ! Lovely folk they are !
Miggy has to stop here every time we are on our walk just in case there is a Squirrel up in the trees !
In a week or so these trees will be full of vibrant orange and reds ! Some of the trees in the village have been here for hundreds of years .
I love the little old barns in the village !
This is the end of our street that connects to the main road through our village !
There are a lot of old abandon buildings on our main street village as years ago there were fires and floods that destroyed most of main street but some are being sold and hopefully refurbished into shops again ! Down around that corner is the local general store with gas station and more of our village, on the right of this building is our Building centre !
Up from main street that Miggy and were on , we saw the two lovely lady’s and their pooches that Miggy and I always stop to say hello to during our walk we always end up meeting up some where along the way !
Miggy and I love to go to the little park we have here just off of the main road as you come through town . In town we have an Antique shop , an auction house that is packed every Mon night and a Ma & Pa restaurant .
We have a lovely river and forest that runs around and through our village !
Pathway's to the banks of the river and little beach like areas where in peak fishing season you will find people quietly sitting with rods ready and waiting for a catch . Good fishing is in this river !
You will find it pretty misty over the river now as the forest holds a lot of moisture from the river !
I was a little on the tilt as Miggy was pulling me to try to chase a Squirrel .
Miggy and I often stop here , sit for a bit and take in the beauty and sounds of nature ! The river runs behind all those trees.
I took more photos then I thought !
Part two will be later and we can continue the walk with Miggy and I .
It is Canada's Thanksgiving weekend this weekend so to all you Canadians out there
Have a good weekend to all !

What a lovely village! I do hope your Main Street comes alive again!
Oh how beautiful! I would LOVE to live in a place like this. Maybe you and Miggy could find Soph and I a cozy little house out on your walks?
Your village is lovely, I can't wait to see more, and hear the stories and history of it all. Happy Thanksgiving!! I'd even be interested in knowing about your Thanksgiving Traditions!!
The colors are amazing and I sure enjoyed the tour. Love the shot of the bench though, I think that is my favorite and it will be super cool when those trees start changing color.
What a delightful place to live, I love the idea of being able to see so many different types of houses, and structures.

I love seeing all of the fall colors in your photos. We get a few colors here in SoCal but not until much later in the season. You dog is so cute.
I really enjoyed the first part of your walk. Hope you have a wonderful long Thanksgiving weekend.
