Spring water Conservation Part #1
This past weekend was a long weekend for us here . Papa took an extra day off as part of his vacation time to make a longer weekend for him .
It was hot and humid Friday and Saturday so that was a stay in the cool day and Papa and I were putting together a web site for our Photography . The site is still in the works but we have done most of it . WOW ! even though Papa is good at building websites there is a lot to do with them and he understands and knows all the what I call gibberish to them lol. Saturday our daughter came down for a short visit before she is off to University again and left Sunday afternoon it was lovely to see her again . Sunday we had much needed rain .
Yesterday Papa , Miggy and I went to a nice conservation park that's not far from us . It was nice and cool and the air was fresh . I walked Miggy so Papa had the chance to take photos as he doesn't get as much time as I do to enjoy and do his photography !
The foot paths were nice and wide and the area is very well taken care of and full of wild life ! A red fox popped into our path and scampered off as I think he was more afraid of Miggy then us . Papa tried to get his photo but he was to fast !
The swamp area is beautiful and full of life !
Lots of tad polls here !
There were hundreds of butterfly's fluttering around !
Dragon fly's to soaking up the sun and heat on the board walks !
Miggy loved it and jumped on this huge tree that was on the ground for Papa to take her photo !
Signs to guide you through the foot paths !
I didn't have my camera as it was Papa’s day to take photos but I just had to take a few of Papa and Miggy !
The scenery was amazing !
Part two tomorrow !
Until then hope you have a great day !

Oh my goodness, what a beautiful area. I am so glad you are sharing it, and I can't wait until tomorrow. Hugs to Miggy
Great to see you, Papa and Miggy having such a wonderful walk. These are beautiful photos. I have seen a fox once on one of our walks but you're right, they are so fast! I didn't have time to get a photo either. I was happy to see the one in our back garden several months ago but his visits are super rare and have only happened three times in 30 years. Happy you got a chance to visit with your daughter. I know how as they start out life on their own, these visits are even more precious.
That was a wonderful way to spend a cooler day and it was lovely to see you all enjoying the forest.
Such beautiful photos, Elaine.. You guys always amaze me with your ability to capture with your camera..
What a beautiful place to walk and enjoy nature.
