Sticky & Humid

Hope everyone had a nice weekend !

The weather here has been hot, humid , muggy  , sunny and hazy but that doesn't stop us from being outside . Our porch in the back keeps a lot of  shade and is cool enough to sit and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature we have here .

Papa and I just puttered around this weekend . We do a lot of puttering in the heat lol  ! Miggy puttered to, more like just layed around and followed us around from time to time !

Papa built a planter box  frame for me for the back fence that's between our sheds . I had bought a while ago some dollar store plastic window box planters and Papa came up with the idea to build a frame and set them in it ! Now I have got to find a plant that takes mostly shade and cascades ! Photos of this later hehe !

Yesterday evening I watered all my planters and gardens when the sun set ! Hope we get rain soon !

This is a real nest we found and a birdy Papa got from the dollar store, oh a while ago . Papa thought it would be nice to display it in our lantern that we don't use !

Today it is still hot , humid and hazy but Miggy and I will still be outside for a bit  then come in to cool off !

Until next time hope you all have a wonderful day !

Hi Elaine...We certainly don't need rain here, it probably will be awhile before we dry up!! I just hope it doesn't turn to hot the the ground gets hard as a rock!!
It was a nice sunny day yesterday and nice drying breeze...sorry your humid and hazy...are we ever happy?? ; }
Miggy has the right idea when it comes to what to do on a hot day LOL!!
Got a kick out of the nest with the fake bird..at first I looked , and thought ""what kind of bird is that"" lol
Your plant is gorgeous!!
Enjoy the week !!

I hope you get your rain soon. We had a week of it with more on the rain. We need it so I'm not complaining.

I'm also enjoying the weather while sitting on my front porch because all too soon it will be unbearable to even step outside.

I love your idea of putting the bird and nest in the lantern. It sounds like you are having south Texas weather. We have been in the mid 90's the last several weeks.
Blessings,

I don't like the humid weather. We don't usually get humid heat, more dry heat, unless it wont quit raining!

The yard sure looks good, its pretty boring and plain colored here this year with no flowers.

Its been on the hot and sticky side over my way as well, so I think the cool days are pretty much over folks. Richard

Just love the bird and next in the unused lantern. I bet it is quite a conversation piece. :)

we seem to be having your weather too, wet and humid and not a typical dry Alberta summer so far
