A Few Critters At The Cove

Not only do we have lots of birds we have critters as well . Most are nocturnal but we see a few during the day !

         We have 5 squirrels around that frequent our yard ! Miggy likes to tree them often lol !

      This is Sammy , we have Chippy and Stumpy visit every day ! .He is always stuffing his cheeks from the seeds under the feeders and sometimes the bowls  I put out !

Then we have hundreds of these bunnies . At least 8 or 9 generations all over the village . Every size from full grown to still growing to tea cup size bunnies that are just growing . Last year it got soo many we had to live trap them and take them to the other side of the river and release them in the woods !

                                     I swear some have found their way back ! lol

And this is the Coves biggest and bestest  critter ever  , Our Miggy who snoozes when I am taking photos of other things besides her !

                             Until next time hope you all have a great day !

Hi Elaine...I would love to see a wild rabbit again...since the coyotes moved into my area the rabbit population is just about gone!!Cute photos of your critters, but your domesticated critter always gets to me she is my favorite ; }

Thanks for critter pics...as a gal city born and bred, I have greatly enjoyed becoming more "country-fied" after retirement. Dog is so cute!

It appears Miggy doesn't keep your garden free of critters. :) Our Labs move any critters they see here along to the next garden. Love those bunnies. :)

Such cute little critters, I love seeing the chipmonks in the cove.
We seem to have lots of bunnies this year, that's a good sign, meaning the coyotes are staying at bay !
Beautiful Miggy....the fairest of them all :)

Well, Miggy is the star of this post, that's for sure :) But you do have some lovely little critters visiting you. I love rabbits and used to get quite a few when we had a patch of clover in our front yard. They seemed to love that. Now it's gone so have the rabbits :( Have a great weekend!

I was just out trying to get a picture of our resident Barred owl--I got a little too close and it flew off...Next time! :-) I don't see many chipmunks, but they have to be around, don't they? I know the bunnies are!

I hope you and Miggy have had a good day!! :-)

I enjoyed your critter photos! I'm surprised that Miggy doesn't chase any of them around - well you did say the squirrels. What about the rabbits?

Miggy has the prettiest eyes. What kind of dog is she? She is really so beautiful.

Miggy, you great big lovable dreamer!! I would just love for you and our Max to have a play date. However, it would probably be more like a nap date!:) Have a great weekend.
