Frosty 1st Day Of December

Wow! I cant believe its December already !

Well this morning we woke early  , Papa had to go to work and  wouldn’t ya know  it one of the coldest frostiest mornings we have had  yet and our furnace is on the blink Sad smile.  Papa went down to see what was the problem but he had to get going for work and so he will look at it later when he gets home . So after Papa left for work I put the wood stove on, thank goodness we have that for heat !

So as the girls and I were waiting for it to get warm , I decided to take a photo of them ! Again playing on the stairs where they always love to play !

Then after all this the sun was slowly coming up and I looked out the window and OH MY ! The sun was  twinkling off of  all the frost it was soo pretty , so I had to go out and take photos !

Here I go again in my Jammies lumber jacket boots with camera in hand !

That wood stove looks like you'll be snug as a bug in a rug! Love the animal photo, and the frosty ones are beautiful!

Beautiful frost shots, so pretty, but around for such a short time. We have a clinging soft snow as our gift to look at. I didn't get the camera out this time. Stay warm my friend!

Nice photos! What kind of trees are those? They're so pretty!

I was thinking about your wood stove this morning and wishing I had one! I love it! Enjoy it for me!

Oh, and I hope Papa can get the furnace fixed.

Oh sweetie, I've never made any bones on how I 'dislike' winter but those frosty shots are magnificent!!!

It seems the cold weather brings out the beast in otherwise well functionin' items. We had a water issue Tuesday with the whole house water filter....yep...had to replace it in the 17 degree weather! Uck!

God bless you day and keep cozy my friend!!!

First of all, your photos are awesome. I really love them. The girls are as cute as ever. I wish I could see them play. Your wood stove makes me miss my wood stove in our old house in Mo. It was the only thing that kept us from freezing to death during the ice storm of '07 - 8 days with no heat! Don't have any use for one, here in AZ, but I sure do miss the snuggle up factor.

I think if my day had started out as cold and no heat, I would have gone back to bed with 'the girls!' :-)) But your pictures are worth getting up for because they are terrific shots and show such great detail!

Beautiful pics! Sorry your furnace is on the blink, especially with the weather that ya'll have, but that wood stove looks soooo cozy! I betcha those two girls of yours would keep you and papa warm if all else failed! Have a great week-end.
