Time Change & Wood Workings

We set our clocks back one hour this past weekend and it seems to have thrown me off kilter . I don't like having less day light , usually by the time I get used to the time change its then time to move the clocks forward which that I don't mind more day light . Day Light Saving  , Spring forward  ,Fall back what an appropriate phrase .

Papa was in his work shop yesterday finishing up a project he was doing for a fellow at his work. This fellow saw my Tater & Onion box that Papa had made for me via our blog and wanted one so Papa has been busy finishing it up . He is going to leave it unpainted as this fellows wife wants to do her own painting of it.

Papa putting the finishing touches on the Tater & Onion box !

Until next time , hope you all have a wonderful day !

beautiful work! I love it :)

The time change always has me screwed up for about two weeks; I feel real tired & I HATE getting home after dark :(
I wish they would leave it alone.

I love working in wood but seldom have the times, except to repair things.

You are right...a work of art.

That's very nice! Papa did a good job; you can tell it's a hobby he really enjoys.

Oh my gosh, I love that tater & onion box! What a magnificent job Papa does. We moved to Arizona the first of the year. We don't change our clocks here. The good part is that I don't have to deal with changing all the watches and clocks, the next good part is that I don't have to deal with the "fall" back time. The very worst time is that I DON'T GET DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME! I really missed it this summer. I love long long days and really didn't get to experience it here. Oh well, you take the good with the bad and always remember that life is good. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful handiwork! My husband would love to have a woodshop - if we had a home!

AZ is one of two states that does NOT do Daylight Savings Time.

Papa does very nice work. I love the smell of sawdust, and the different woods... reminds me of my dad; and I miss him.
