Papa finished the Arbour and set it into place yesterday ! He rebuilt our old Arbour that we had and used for Papa and I to get married under , the top was cracked and it was falling apart . The old Arbour had a rounded top and was smaller, we liked the sides of it and he incorporated them into his new one as well as added a new design with in the sides of the Arbour the diamond shape, then he painted it white to match the house ,workshop and sheds we have in the back. I love it . It is now a gate way to our yard !
Fantastic job Papa it looks great ! I wonder what else Papa is going to build , maybe a white picket fence or bird houses who knows that's what I love about Papa’s wood work ya never know what he's going to build next ! Cant wait to find out !
Until next time, hope you all have a wonderful day !

It is beautiful!!! It is so wonderful to be able to use part of your wedding arbor.
How very lovely AND how nice to have the arbor used in your wedding rebuilt so you can keep using it. :))) Nice!
That's just beautiful, I love his design!
Beautiful!
My husband is a woodworker too. He's built much of the furniture in our house. Unfortunately with running the business, it doesn't leave him much time in his woodshop. But I think he's got a long awaited project in mind for this winter! Yay!!
That arbor is so pretty! Can't wait to see the next project.

There is no joy like enjoying the work of your own hands, especially if it is restoring something you treasure. Even God feels that way! Thanks for sharing.
Are you going to plant a climbing rose on it?
