WOKE TO A BAD STORM THIS MORNING!

It was a doozy !  Large hail, wind, rain, oh boy and the lightning and thunder was amazing !  Lots of big cracks of thunder and poor Miggy was practically on my lap, see Miggy never bothered about loud noises till we had fireworks on our May long weekend in the back yard Papa did the fireworks for the kids and now loud thunder and fireworks scare her !It started at 6 am .Our hydro went out at 6:20 am, the storm passed at about 7 ish and we just got hydro back and its 9:45 am , man I am glad I have a gas stove cause if Papa and I couldn't have our morning cup of tea, well its to scary to mention what would happen lol ! It is still a bit cloudy and over cast with the sun trying to peek out. I went out to check on my flowers some made it and some didn't, they got mashed with the hail ! I will just leave them , mother nature will sort them out and bring them to life again ! Any who  that was our wake up call this morning  not very nice !

Until next time, hope you all have a good day !

I don't like hailstorms, a good boomer in the summer is fine but...

Glad all is OK now. I don't want storms, but we REALLY need the rain. Our "exceptional" drought is making gardening a real challenge. I've also had 2 rat snakes get caught and die in my bird netting over my tomatoes, and hubby killed a scorpion in our bedroom last night!
Blessings,
Lorilee

Poor Miggy, Sophie doesn't like that thunder at all! We need rain here soooo bad, but we want rain, and rain only. We have had enough storms as far as we're concerned! Give Mig a humungus hug from Soph and me.

We too could sure use just a little rain, minus the hail and thunder and lightning. Glad it's over for you and Miggy is much relieved. Enjoyed poking around your new photo blog too.
