It has been quiet here the past few days what with all the rain we had , things are slowly beginning to dry out as the sun has been shining every day since Sunday but the temps have been chilly as have the winds . This May has been topsy turvy with its weather so far but slowly things are looking up in the future forecast and warmer to .
These photos I took are of some during the rainy days , I popped out in intervals of the rain and others were when the rain finally stopped . I was playing about with my camera settings .
I like photographing rain drops .
And of course birds , lots of birds .
I find birds challenging to photograph as they really don't seem to sit still for long , always on the go they are !
I could see in their little faces they were fed up with being wet from all the rain we had and some did not look very happy at all ! who could blame them all wet and chilled for days .
Miggs wasn't impressed about all the rain either as she sat out on her swing under the porch watching the wet yard . She is such a photogenic dog .
Mr Redwing black bird didn't seem to mind the rain he was squawking and having a ball in the rain drops . I guess cause these guys nest in marshy swampy areas so they must like the wet lol ! All though with the smug look on his face looking at me he may not like being photographed to much lol !
Oh I see this is your good side ! ok thanks Mr Redwing !
Bunny was out and about munching on the nice wet green grass !
Mr Song sparrow often feasts under the feeders then goes back up into the cedar hedge and sings for us .
The next day after the rains the sky was blue with the odd cloud and sunshine but chilly , so I did some indoor spring cleaning . . Miggs went to the groomers to get tidied up again yesterday . I was able to catch the moon the other night just before we called it a night . It’s phase was Waxing gibbous Visible: 90% ↑ Age: 11.65 days . The moon is tonight will be at 99% almost a full moon but Thursday and Friday it is a full moon at 100% .
We had a frosty one this morning and now the sun is warming it all up . Papa is home today with a rotten cold so plenty of TLC , fluids and chicken noodle soup for him .
Until next time .

Nice selection of photos. I was finally able to get outside today, been dull and chilly with showers in between.

Nie day here, and I was pleased to both hear and see a cardinal on my walk. I don't see nearly as many as I used to in Sarnia.
Loved seeing all the birds and that close ups of Miggs is fabulous. I am sorry these days I do not have the same time to comment on all your posts due to recent events but I appreaciae you posts and your comments on mine.
Beautiful pictures. You're right, the birds are very hard to photograph since they won't sit still. Have a nice weekend.
