This n That

Well the snow has stopped flying and falling  for the moment and it is very cold out but the sun has been shining and the sky has been a clear brilliant blue   but now the clouds are rolling in again  and snow is expected to fly and fall tonight . In the mean time Miggs and I earlier this morning  went for a nice walk , I filled feeders  , played in the snow with Miggs and took photos just because !

Some of the Cardinals are finally getting used to me hanging about the feeders taking photos and are letting me get closer each time now .

I love it when all the birds fly about from one side of the yard to the other to their feeders , I have to be careful though or we can get into a collision with them , there have been many a times that I have nearly been latterly  run into by birds in the yard lol .

All of the birdies really like the Cedar hedges and find shelter and comfort in them all year long !

Miggs was hiding on the path in front of a snow drift as I  lost sight of her I called her as she popped her head up as if to say here I am mum !

Love these photos, especially of the cardinal. It's getting colder here this afternoon and the snow has stopped for a few days. Take care.

Miggs appears to like the taste of snow.

As you know, Miggs always makes me smile. How fun for Miggs to get to play in the snow. The pictures of the birds are wonderful. We have some pesky cardinals in our neighborhood right now who are diving at windows and pecking at them.

I do miss all the birds from our old place. We have no birds to speak of at our new place. Your photos are wonderful.

Love your birds today, Elaine. I know how they love the cedar trees. Your cardinals are such a pop of colour against the green. What is that gorgeous bird with the white chest?

The birds look lovely with the snow surrounding them and Miggs seem to love it.
