Yesterday was snowy on and off all day one minute the winds were blowing the next they weren’t , big snow flakes falling , little snow flakes falling , no snow flakes falling , it went on like this all day .
Birdies every where as they gathered up as much seed as they could I was low on seed as Papa was picking more up on his way home from work .
They scavenged what they could out of all the feeders some had more in them then others !
The Cardinals stand out so beautifully in the snow and greenery of the Cedar hedges !
Hard not to keep taking photos of them they are soo pretty !
Even Mr Squirrel was getting in on the act and not to pleased with the lack of food in the feeders !
Just after 4ish the sun peeked out ever so slightly and Papa got home from work with a trunk full of big bags of bird seed . They all new he had more food as they were chirping like mad as he carried it all to my shed and as I was filling their feeders up whilst Papa got the the snow blower going . So the birds and critter feeders are all filled up now ,snow fell a bit more We went in for supper and I watched them feast once again through my kitchen window whilst I was making supper and all was happy .
The sun is shining this morning but it is cold out -20°C Feels like –30°C or -4°F Feels like -22°F another Extreme Cold Warning is across the board for today , but the falling snow has stopped for now and all the birdies and critters are back at the feeders again this morning for breakfast ! I will bundle and layer up and Miggs and I are off for a nice walk as the sun shines and the fresh crisp cold air keeps me moving with nature sights and sounds all around me .
Until next time

I am sure the birdies appreciated the bird seed on these cold days.. Pretty shots of your snow, birds and the last photo is gorgeous.. Stay warm and have a happy day!
Love those cardinals. I have a male and female at my feeders that I love to see but are very hard to photograph as they leave as soon as I approach. Not like the chickadees.
it is cold again this morning. Getting very fed up of this Winter. We didn't have snow though yesterday with us.
Demanding little critters, aren't they? :)
Morning Elaine...
So nice to see all your critters happy at the feeders...
Will get back to that when I return...
Mid 40's here today....brrrrr!
Enjoy your day...
Cheers!

ps....you on Instagram?
Lovely winter shots, especially with the beautiful red cardinal!
It is good that you keep the feeders topped up because the birds come to depend on it don't they. xx
Your first one is nice for good fences with Tex.
Oh I'm so envious of your visits from those gorgeous red cardinals! Beautiful shots!
So pretty all these little critters in your garden and they keep you busy dragging food. As I see you have a cold and long snowy winter.
I can imagine how pleased the birds and critters were to see the feeders filled.
I've had to be out of town, and today I also filled my feeders for the first time in over a week -- I love hearing the birds calling to each other when I'm out there. I'm also glad I got them fed, they're cold, and so am I! :-)
thank you for feeding the birds in these cold times. I am sure they appreciate it.
