As The Winter Day’s Pass By !

Each winter day is passing by  cold , snowy, windy , icy , mild and mixed up weather and some fun in between as the birdies and critters  feast at the feeders  and keep us entertained .  Today it is sunny  but windy and the snow is blowing all about . The fire place is crackling  to help by keeping us just that little bit extra cozy  as the winter day’s pass by.

The sun that shines has slowly been melting  snow and ice as it’s rays are getting stronger then the nights take over and freeze it all again  as the winter day’s pass by .

FEBUARY 2015 (8 of 20)

The days that promise sunshine  have had pretty sunrises as the sun now rises farther up the eastern horizon more each week as  the winter day’s pass by .

It also promises different sunsets each time as it sets later each evening as it creeps farther up the western horizon  as  the winter day's pass by .

The nights become colder and all is still as the winter day’s pass by !

It has been nice to have Papa home from work on his mid winter break  and we have been puttering  and enjoying movies  and bundling up to go for walks with Miggs and play in the yard , snow blow or just to get out for a bit of fresh air as the winter day’s pass by !

                                                                            Until next time .

I so enjoy your winter pictures. Having lived in the north for all my life until moving to Texas 6 years ago, I remember those beautiful scenes, but also remember all the frustration with the snow. Have a lovely Valentine weekend.

hibernating here, too flipping cold for doing anything else.

I'm only really noticing the difference in sunset times- I'm rarely awake around dawn. It is getting later each day.

We had a sunny day but it was quite windy and blowing the snow around. It sure is getting colder tonight ... time for tea by the fire :) Enjoy the evening.

It is nice to see someone taking the cold and snowy days one at a time and enjoying what they have to offer.
Wishing you a Happy Valentine's Day with your hubby!

Winter does have its own beauty as you never fail to show us, Elaine. I really liked the ice glistening on the tree branches in this post.
