A Snowy Peek Of Sun Day

It snowed most of the day yesterday  big snow flakes , little snow flakes , all sticky and new .  We puttered inside for most of the day  I did  some laundry , read wonderful blogs   watched a movie or two   Miggs in and out looking like a snow beast every time ! This is after she shakes it off lol !

Here Miggs is watching a squirrel in our big old tree !

FEBUARY 2015 (2 of 8)

Guess she gave up and decided to pose for the camera instead lol !

By the late afternoon earlyish evening Papa went out and did again more snow blowing as the snow that fell accumulated, there has been a  lot of snow blowing being done this year thank goodness for it to I would hate to have to shovel it all . Any who  the temps were mild and we decided to have burgers on  the BBQ so Papa did that for us after he had done the snow blowing as he was  barbequing the sun shone just as it was setting and it was so pretty with it’s orangey glow as it reflected off of the sky , clouds and  dampish atmosphere .

The snow  that was sticking to the trees was picking up a bit of the suns glow to  !

FEBUARY 2015 (7 of 8)

As the sun was setting lower in the western horizon a thin layer of cloud moved in front of it  and gave the sky a different look as all  the colour bounced from place to place .

FEBUARY 2015 (8 of 8)

Despite all the snow falling having the sun appear even for a moment especially at sun set after a day of cloud makes it that much better and puts a nice touch to the end of the day  . The days are now getting longer  , when the sun rises it is earlier and when it sets it sets later  and will after the 8th of March as we spring the clocks forward and hour cant wait for that and the Cardinal's and other birdies are singing their mating songs . I am watching for the Robins return which should be soon  cause spring is on it’s way  officially in 25 days and I am so looking forward to it .

It is snowing again so I am off to clean off and refill the feeders for my birdies and critters then playtime in the yard with Miggs and maybe a walk then a bit more laundry to be done when I come in  and more puttering .

                                                                    I love to putter don't you ?.

Joining in with  Sunlit Sunday's .

I would like to thank all for visiting and  big Welcome  to some new followers !

Until next time my friends  !

I now fancy barbecuing myself, but would have to dig out the bbq, and that would take more energy than I have at the moment!!

It's a gorgeous day out today with -8 Celsius temperatures. I really enjoyed clearing away yesterday's snow. I've been listening and watching for the robins too, they usually start arriving back at this time. Cant wait for the clocks to change and enjoy the lighter evenings.

Miggs is so cute- reminds me of a dog I had as a child. Beautiful pictures of the sun setting!

I love how the days are lengthening too. It seems to give me more energy in the late afternoon and early evening when the sun has yet to set.

That Miggs! There's a pooch that could sell dog food!
