From My Windows

Holly cow is it ever cold and windy out there . So cold and windy Miggs dashed out did her business and came straight in to the warmth of her bed  lol ! That as we all know Miggs is odd as years in the past she would stay out in a snow storm if she could , guess she is getting older and wiser lol Aren’t we all ? lol !

Doesn’t the red of these crab apple berries look so pretty against the white of the snow ?

The winds are howling and blowing strong out there as I write this making this old farm house creek and groan  so looks like it will be a day of staying cozy , maybe I will have a fire going and  soup on for supper  for when Papa gets home   YUMMY and  COZY !!!!

I think winter is here to stay and you're right about that wind whipping about today - wow!
Your wood stove looks warm and would make the surroundings cozy. A big pot of soup sounds delicious, today I made a blueberry coffee cake and only walked our dog for about 5 minutes - he doesn't like the cold at all.

Snow is only beautiful from inside the house, as far as I'm concerned. And Miggs is a smart dog. Love the picture with the cardinal in the tree.

Miggs is a smart little pup for all her tender years :). Gorgeous photos! Bet that wood stove is comforting. Could do with one of those here, though have to say we are not dealing with such cold temperatures. Cold enough at 19 deg F. this morning. Should heat up some, I hope :)

It looks beautiful around you...but definitely cold! Your photos are wonderful.

The weather has been the same here. Yesterday was freezing, and at night there were extremely strong winds. Today is a little nicer.

You say holly cow but guess what, we came off of Haida gwaii Island and the temp in the inner BC area was -31 reported. We took a couple of places off our visit list so we could get further south so our water wouldn't freeze in the RV. I love how Miggs loves the snow, not so crazy about the snow but your pictures are lovely
