Blooming At The Cove

 

The weather here today is overcast and chilly a big difference from how summer like  it has been !  I went around the yard yesterday taking photos of my Lilacs , Purple Sand cherries  and anything that was in bloom ! I used my Macro 60mm lens that I haven’t used for some time !

   Most of our Lilacs are in the back  somewhat hiding behind Papa’s Observatory so some time this year we will move them to where we can see them and enjoy their fragrance and beauty more ! I will be taking clippings soon and bringing them in  to put on my kitchen table and have  the wonderful smell of Lilacs wafting through  our house ! I have three colours of Lilac bushes !

                                  Most people do not like Dandelions but I think they are pretty !

It's so nice to see a lawn full of the dandies...they are such a pretty bright yellow.

Re: the question about the studio...it's a bedroom upstairs....what a treat to have a room to create in. I love it.

I used to use the kitchen table, and had to clear it off each night.

Hi Elaine... Oh those Lilacs are gorgeous .. you are ahead of us on that one!!
It seems everything just blossoms at once doesn't it!! Taking pictures gives the opportunity to observe then
and revisit then when you load them on the computer , and you have lovely ones to enjoy !!

Wow!!! So pretty all the blooming flowers and bushes....lovely pictures.....Cool and windy here today, not to much blooming yet, a few hardy bulbs.....Blessings Francine.

What a beautiful array of flowers! I too, love dandelions - to me they are our first sign of Spring (which I thought was never going to happen this year).

Miggs is precious and seems to be enjoying the dandelions also.
