The weather has been perfect here sunny and in the 70’s & 80’s . Papa took the day off of work again today as another vacation day he likes to make a few long weekends out of it lol . Papa is preparing the area for him and his dad to install a sliding patio door in our kitchen where the old regular door is . I will post before and after photos later this weekend .
Guess what ? Our Hummers are back WOOHOO ! I spotted one yesterday evening zooming from feeder to feeder ! Oh and another bird has returned .
The Rose Breasted Grosbeak !
Now all of our spring and summer birds have returned ! I have seen the odd bee and butterfly to so they are next on list of spring arrivals .
I just love this time of year when all the birds return , butterfly’s and bees to , the smell of fresh grasses and flowers and the peepers in the evenings echoing in the woods by the river , to the birds singing to their hearts content . The days of sunshine and long walks and sitting on the swing on the porch as fresh breezes blow for laundry to dry on the line outside , to puttering in the gardens , this to me is oh so perfect !

We've had bees and butterflies but no red breasted grosbeak yet. I'll be on the lookout for it. The weather is gorgeous.
I have hummingbird juice out too. But I think it froze in the feeder. ((grumpy look))) While your enjoying that beautiful weather think of me freezing still in Wis!!!
Love the Grosbeak they are so beautiful. Oh I am loving this weather and all my windows are open too. Yeah it was a long time coming but we made it:) Have a nice weekend. B

I also got my first black fly bite today, I was intent on taking pictures, and the little bugger got me, I also had my first tick on me, but I got him before be had a chance to tick me off.. hahaha!!
