A Cold December Sunrise

I looked out of the kitchen window this morning as I was filling the kettle to put on for my tea . I saw lots of clouds over in the south east and thought , OH!  it was to be a sunny day today , oh well ! Then something made me look out the window again a few minuets later and there it was, the sun rising behind big puffy clouds over the valley . I didn't think much of anything other then YEAH!  sun shine  , then I saw it , the beautiful cloud formations as the sun rise was shining through them, on them and around them , well ya know I had to grab my camera and yes in my Pj’s  I go , out in to the cold crisp fresh air  standing on our front lawn taking these photos.

As I was out the school bus drove by ! I can just imagine what the kids and bus driver were thinking ! Hey ,! there's that crazy snap happy PJ wearin   lady again !  She’s nuts !

The clouds were moving at a pretty good click and it was hard to capture them at the time I saw them as they flew by !

There is the sun peeking through the clouds as they quickly roll by !

The sun is hiding in this cloud , I was able to capture it just peeking from the bottom of the clouds close to the center of the photo  .Then the clouds  cleared away more from the sun and it is now shining ever so bright . I love how the sun and cloud formations like this look . It  was and is windy out there to but beautiful and mysterious !

I can handle cold  days with sun shine , just not the cold gloomy ones !

Until next time hope you all have a sunny shiny day !

Gorgeous pictures... and I bet the kids and bus driver wouldn't be saying that if they could also see your results. They'd be anxiously awaiting the results! lol
