So Hot & Humid !

I know we wanted winter to end so bad and prayed for summer , but not this hot & humid , never satisfied are we ?

It is soo hot and humid we have stayed inside the entire week with the exception of the odd popping out to take a look at the gardens and water them just to get a different view .

When you open the door a wall of heat literally hits you and takes your breath away ,  here it is 41 ºC   that's  105.8 ºF ,  its the humidity here that makes it soo bad . It is so hot that even the poor birds are panting and finding it hard to stay cool .

Miggy wants to be outside but then realises its to hot to do anything !

and stays inside where its cool !

So where ever you are and how ever hot it is , please try and stay as cool as you can !

Until next time , hope you have a good day !

Sterling agrees with Miggy, when it is hot, stay inside and lay in front of the fan! :) I'm with the dogs I don't like the heat.

We got a welcome break yesterday and last night with some rain, which we loved, and I know it helped put out some of the wildfires here in Utah... today the temps will be back up near 100... too hot for me!... and Tessy is like Miggy, can't wait to get outside, then wants right back in!... we've been sharing popsicles on the porch!... xoxo Julie Marie

Seems like all of North America is suffering from extreme heat! Only small parts of the country has gotten some rain; it's been hit or miss by us. Very odd - my sister lives about 20 minutes from me and she's had rain a couple of times. Us? not a drop!

It is rough here too! We are known for our miserable humidity. We went camping last weekend, and left early because we thought Sophie was getting sick from the heat. It took her a day or two to recover, and she is only going out to do her job, then comes straight back in. I am doing everything I can to take care of my outside dogs and keep them cool. You, Papa, and Miggy stay safe!

Poor Miggy, they just do not understand when we say it "Too Hot to go out". ITs hot but thankful its not 106, I can handle 90. Boy does that sound strange to say.

Yep....we are in the low hundred's here to....which is unheard of for our area......our Buddy does the same as your Miggy.....wants out to only want right back in as soon as the heat hits him! I feel so sorry for my goats, I have 4 fans going in their barn with plenty of cool water.....but they are certainly suffering.....just wish we would get a break! No rain, so farmers here are losing their crops and everything is so ugly...very sad!

I just wrote a post about our heat problem here too. My chickens are panting. Our yellow lab can't come in because as soon as I bring him in -- he whimpers to go back out. Then he hops in a tub of water and gets muddy. So now he is out surviving in the heat. I found you through Deborah Jean's hop.

Come on over.

Blessings!
Beth

Staying indoors is the best advice for humans and animals alike, so IF you don't have to out, then don't. We're finding that reading is a good thing on these hot days. ENjoy your weekend, indoors.

Thanks for visiting and leaving such a nice comment about my Summer Mantel. We have had temperatures in the 80's and 90's the last couple of weeks and that's pretty warm for New Hampshire. I can't imagine the high temps that you are dealing with. Sending you my coolest thoughts. Take Care.
