Cleaning Up The Hedge Tops

Yesterday was cloudy and chilly . Papa and his dad spent the morning trimming up the tops of the hedges as they have grown so tall . By trimming the tops they will now be able to spread out more and thicken up !

These hedges travel around our entire yard .Papa’s mom & dad live just on the other side of them.

Some of them had very thick trunks !

Miggy has always got to be watching what's going on !

Papa trimming away the excess from the tops !

There still are a lot of tops to trim off but Papa and dad will do them bit by bit !

I went around and cut some of my Daffodils to bring in the house . They smell soo good !

This was taken early this morning whilst the sun rise was shining in my kitchen !

It is a nice day out today temps to be up to 10°C or 50 ºF with lots of sun . Miggy and I will be going for our walk this morning and spending the day out side !

Until next time hope you all have a great day !

Hedges are beautiful but they take a lot of work. I have an electric trimmer an it's one of the best things I ever bought. It's good for stuff up to half an inch.

Wow, those are some tall hedges !
Lots of work for the men-folk to do this time of the year.
What a lovely picture of your kitchen, sunny daffodils on the table, and copper kettle in the background....
Sweet.

Your daffodils are beautiful. We had beautiful daffodils when we lived in Missouri. Oh how I miss them. So much work to be done!! I love that Miggy needs to see what is going on. I'm bet she loves her walks with you. Great weather is here!

Great picks of father and son working in the garden and I see Miggy was in there wanting to join in. I loved the look of your daffodils. It is 78 degrees here in my part of Virginia today. I was shocked to walk outside and find that it was warmer out there than it was inside the house. I have now opened all the windows!

That Miggy has got to supervise and make sure everything is going ok out there with the men folk. It looks so cozy in your home. I know I have said it before, but I LOVE your wood burning stove! You and Miggy enjoy your walk.
