A Snowy Evening !

Remember how I said in my last post that we don't have any snow, well we do now ! It started at about 5pm . It was beautiful, such big soft snow flakes and the temperature was so mild and all was so quiet you could hear the snow falling.  This is my favourite type of snow fall . So Papa and I went out and took some night time snowy photos ! Its almost 10 pm and it’s still snowing !

I hope it keeps snowing all night, then I can go out tomorrow and get more snow photos ! It seems so magical when it is like this !

Until next time, hope you all have a wonderful day !

Such neat photos! We got enough snow to cover the ground somewhat. It was nice while it lasted.

So beautiful. We are still waiting for some snow. Miggy always has a good time for herself.

Hi Elaine, you took some great snow pictures. There is something magical about the first snow fall and night snow is even more magical. Enjoyed the one of Papa taking his and the ones of Miggy enjoying herself. We don't have any snow here yet. It was very warm over Christmas, it rained all day yesterday. It's snowy today but was very windy and blowing the squirrels peanuts all over the place. Seems to have calmed down now though. Happy New Year, just in case I don't get here before.

Lovely photos as always. Can't help but think when looking at the windmill photo, that the pergola (or whatever it is) just cries out for a Nativity scene! It would make a lovely little stable, and with almost life-size figures it would be a beautiful reminder of the reason for the season!

Just a thought!
