The system responsible for this rainfall is a slow-moving low pressure system from Texas. It will bring tropical moisture from the Gulf of Mexico to Southern Ontario.
Rainfall warnings may be issued if a more significant event of widespread 50 mm or more appears more certain.

We seem to be going from one extreme to the other. It sure was nice not to have that oppressive humidity today.
Nice photos. Good grief...it never rains but it pours.
Beautiful shots! We're apparently getting it as well, but then we do need it.
Stay safe and dry!
Yep. we maybe prayed too hard? The grass is finally turning green again. Stay safe with this next round of rain on it's way.
That rain is on its way here, too! We really need it. I just hope there isn't any flooding.
We had much weekend rain, but we may miss the nest one as last I saw we were to be on the edge of it.
I love looking at the clouds and seeing things like rabbits -- I just shouldn't do it while I'm driving! :-) I welcome a little bit of rain in our corner of the world too!
Yah, we had some dark clouds here too. We'll see what tomorrow brings.
Those clouds are beautiful! Right now we are hoping for rain. It is really hot and dry here. Keeps me busy watering the plants and bushes enough to keep them alive. I love the picture of Miggs in your header. Bet is was fun walking in the rain with him.
