This & That

The weather has been up and down but through it all the sun has been shining  and some snow has been melting . It is pretty quiet here other then the birds and squirrels raiding the feeders  and the birds chatting and singing away Miggs barking at our Crow George and George squawking back  ok so maybe not to quite but you all know what I mean just the type of quiet I love and am used to lol .

I know we are all fed up with snow yes including me but I had to take some photos of the ice on the snow in the sun as the texture  I find amazing !

The moon rising over the valley was breathtaking last night , I am still practicing my night shots especially when the atmosphere  is cold and damp as this does toy with the  photos !

MARCH 2015 (1 of 6)

I woke and got up this morning got  my cuppa tea and Miggs her breakfast and watched the sun rise over the valley .   Times like these I feel so lucky so blessed to live in a valley that is soo beautiful !

This weekend we spring the clocks forward one hour

The evening will be lighter later and eventually the mornings will be lighter earlier again to !   Then  Spring is just around the corner , I am still waiting for the arrival of the Robins should be any day now as  Mother nature pushes old man winter out  of here  more and more each day !

Well  that's my This  & That for now off for a walk in the sun with my Miggs , fill the feeders again and enjoy the day !

                                                                                     Until next time

It does seem like we just changed the clocks, doesn't it? And I don't like this one when you lose an hour of sleep. Your photos are beautiful and the sunrise over the valley...Ahhhh!

The only way toes grass here is to dig for it :) It's a colder start to the day but the sun is out so I'll be grabbing the camera soon and heading outside.

That's a great moon shot, Elaine. Glad the snow is melting and that spring will be coming soon for all of us. Yeah to more hours of daylight too!
