More Then Just Signs

Of Spring that is ,in the past few days the weather has been wonderful  and I have been outside almost every day for a few hours just soaking up some sun and warm temps with my Miggs  watching all the birdies  and going for long walks . I am pleased to announce that  the Robins , Starlings, Grackles, Song Sparrows , Red Wing black birds , Canadian Geese and Killdeer have all returned now .  The snow is melting like mad more and more grass is appearing and greening up in spots and all the trees and bushes have their buds getting ready to pop open very soon ! The sun rises and sun sets have been wonderful .

I was busy last evening but I caught the tail end of a sun set and a vapour trail from a jet high up in the sky as it glows in the sun set light !

I love the colour of the sun set  as it shines through the vapour trail !

This morning I took a photo from my kitchen window of the sun rise  , Oh my looks like I need to get and clean the out side of those windows YIKES !!!!

Any who I then got dressed and went out side to snap a few more  photos of the early morning .

Mr Robin was playing with me this morning trying not to be seen as he tucked himself in between all the branches .

One lonely Canadian goose on his spring flight path to his  spring and summer home .  When  Miggs and I  went for  our walk there were flocks and flocks of Canadian Geese flying to their spring and summer destination's  and of course I didn’t have my camera with me then  , but I did notice that our  Canadian Geese that like to live on our river banks are back  as they were  honking and calling one another  as it echoed through out the valley this morning . The Tundra swans have also taken to their migration flight back to their home as they leave for our spring .

With the sun rising I was able to see the moon setting  it looked soo pretty and peaceful !

Little Downy isn’t to please about the Starlings hogging his suet's though !

MARCH 2015 (19 of 23)

Miggs was testing the bunny poop that was kindly left on the grass and some on the snow that is slowly melting . YUCKY   Miggs !!

So all in all I am happy that these signs of Spring have been complete and am loving all the sounds from these birds that have  returned  and watching them , next when a lot more of  the snow melts which a lot  of  it will after Saturday as we are to warm up more and get rain I will be looking for garden signs of Spring ,  like Tulips , Daffodils and my Hyacinth's , then it will be the blooming of the crab apple tree with all it’s beautiful dainty pretty flowers and finally my Lilacs .

Signs of  Spring  doesn't it  just make you feel good ?

                                                                          Until next time !

For me the real sign of spring will be when the chipmunks emerge.

Not a single new bird here yet, but it's sure nice to know they're getting close!

Lovely pre-spring photos - it is so nice to see the signs pointing towards another spring.

Spring really lifts the spirits doesn't it. Our daffs are out now and at the moment, the sun is shining through the windows (yes, me too on the cleaning window front!!). It's chilly but at least there is colour out there. Not long for you and Miggs now xx

Even though we are at opposite ends of the country, we will soon very soon be at the same stage of spring. It won't take long for either of us.

Lucky you, I haven't seen a robin yet in our area but I am excited at how fast the snow is shrinking.
Bunny poop looks just like kibble, don't see how all the dogs that eat it can find it tasty!
