Marching On

Now that it is March we have ever changing weather as  Mr old man Winter gets pushed out by Mrs Spring  and they battle it all out through the weather with any thing  from cold to warm , snow to rain ,  to freezing rain , sun to cloud . We get warm rainy days more now in March and that helps with the melt down . Today it is cloudy and mild and we are to get freezing rain and a snow rain mix . But yesterday was a nice sunny day all though it was damp and cold  the kind that gets to the bone  , Miggs and I went for a nice walk and played in the yard for a bit , I can feel and smell that spring is in the air more and more each day ! . Then I came in to warm my bones  Miggs not a chance she wanted to be out side  so she stayed out and watched the birds and critters and I took photos from my kitchen window !

I tell you this dog has some character to her and she makes us laugh every day !

MARCH 2015 (15 of 15)

It was nice to have the sun set after 6pm and it stayed light till almost 7 pm . I am soo looking forward to spring . The weather this time of year can change on a dime and for the better all of a sudden we could have all this snow today and it all be gone by the end of the week or at least close to it March is an unpredictable month and usually in a good way to !

I just am so anxious for warmer weather , more sunshine , trees and bushes to bloom Robins to arrive  and eventually garden flowers  all things springish lol ! Not like I am rushing it or anything  YEAH RIGHT , ! HURRY UP , WOULD YA  lol !!!!!

So as I dream and anticipate spring arriving I will be off now and leave you with a few spring photos from last year !

Morning Elaine...
That's the spirit!
You'll be digging in the dirt before you know it!
Hope you don't get freezing rain!
Cheers!

Happy Tuesday! So much fun to read your anticipation of Spring, just around the corner. Love that Miggs! The flowers are so pretty. I'm watching the buds trying to pop out on my Mountain Laurel, and hoping the frosts that have been hitting us don't stop them from blooming.

Hi Elaine, that miggs makes me laugh, too. If our Annie cat was a dog I think she would have a similar personality.thanks for the peak at spring. We can sure use it.it is cold here again as we have similar weather.I am typing and watching the crows at the feeders. Haha! I think I will add a feeder to the back of the coach house for the wee birds and for our cats entertainment. Deb

Miggs really is such a character. Spring will remain elusive in these parts, at least for weeks to come.

Beautiful images! Before you know it we'll be outdoors taking spring shots. Can't wait!

We are awaiting the snow that is predicted, not sure if we will get as much as they say, but right now even a little is too much. I want it to melt, melt, melt. No robins yet ❄️

Miggs has the most expressive face. The one with her tongue out made me laugh. Great photos Elaine. Thanks for sharing them.
