WOW ! March already ? oh goody that means spring is on it’s way WOOHOO !
Yesterday was a nice mild sunny day . Miggs and I went for a walk and Papa was puttering . The sun is warming up now and you can feel it’s warmth , it also now has a UV index reading according the the weather people and love that it is setting later each day I took lots of photo from yesterdays fun in the sun though .
Papa took this photo of George the Crow and his family where they were gathering at the feeders enjoying the food and sun !
Mr Cow bird on the feeder chowing down with some friends there , the other day the feeder was covered with Cow birds , to the right Mr Downy on the suet and you can just see the other birdies in the hedge,
Papa was cleaning the snow off from the edges of the eves trough as the sun is stronger and melting it fast helping the eves so they don't over flow . After today’s snow fall he may have to do it all over again lol !
And of course Miggs is supervising .
She was sitting in the path way when I took this shot we have lots of snow to melt when the temps warm up which they are to be by the end of the week !
Lots of huge icicles on Papa’s work shop dripping away in the heat of the sun !
Then Papa and Miggs had play time in the snow ! Miggs kept taking her rope in the deep snow challenging Papa to come and get it , well he did !
They had fun in .
Then Miggs had a break after all that running around in the sun and snow she was pooped !
I had noticed my Lilac bush has buds on so spring is just around the corner and on it’s way !
Then Papa pointed out the air plane high up in the deep blue sky gleaming in the sun !
Papa continued cleaning off the roves to our wood piles behind our sheds so they don't collapse !
Miggs isn’t allowed back there so she was waiting , listening and watching for Papa to be done and come back to the front of the sheds !
Then we all went in after and had a nice brunch and enjoyed the sun shining for the rest of the day as we watched the birdies fly all about from feeder to feeder , we puttered some more , then later in the evening we watched the sun set as Papa was out barbequing hamburgers for supper and that was our day of fun in the sun but to day sadly there is no sunshine and big fluffily snow flakes are falling oh well at least it is mild out .
Happy March everyone ! Joining in with Sunlit Sunday
Until next time

The cowbirds haven't made it to us yet,, but I'll be on the lookout. It was lovely and sunny yesterday, but a bit of cloud cover today.
Sounds like you, hubby and cutie Miggs had a nice day! I enjoy all the birds and of course all the Migg's images.. And I love the wagon wheel hanging on the workshop. It is nice that the sun is setting later in the day..Spring is coming.. Happy March, have a great day!
What wonderful photos of your dog in the snow. Especially the supervising ones. Loved the gleaming icicles on the workshop and oh my the blue sky in the plane photo is stunning. Have a great Sunday x
What a fun day! Miggs is a great supervisor and pal. I love lilacs and I can't grow them where I live. I'm jealous! Look at those icicles! You have lots of feathered friends visiting. Fun post.
Cute to see Miggs laying down in the snow!
Good Morning, I am so ready for Spring. I am tired of dressing in layers. The sun hasn't really come out this morning. You all have much more snow then we do. I would like some sunshine though to help melt what snow we did get. They are talking about more. I enjoyed your pictures this morning as I drink my cup of coffee. Trying to catch up with friends. Take care and stay warm. Hugs and Prayers from Your Missouri Friend.
While the icicles are beautiful, I am sure you're more than ready to trade them for lilacs! I hope spring arrives soon for you and Miggs!
no snow here, well not falling from the sky!!! Still plenty on the ground. Miggs is such a good dog waiting patiently.
hooray for sunshine and milder temps! miggs is so cute. i like to see the crow families, too.
How did March get here so quickly? I still have all the indoor projects I told myself I was going to do over the winter! It sounds like you and yours have found ways to soak up the sunshine.

I've cleared snow off of a gazebo and a shed roof, and it can be tiring work after awhile.
Looks like Papa and Miggs sure had fun in the snow in what looked like a beautiful day. We also have a light snowfall again tonight in NH.
At least the sky is a beautiful blue over all that snow! Looks like Miggs had a fun time.
I do hope that spring comes soon for you and all of us! Amazing icicles! xx
I loved these snowy photos, your sweet family look like they are having fun in the sun, and the snow :)
